Edinburgh’s weather is usually a bit mixed with rain, clouds and sunny spells occurring all at once, leaving us cold one minute and roasting the next.
And although we may not have the best weather, with people usually pointing out how cold Scotland is, we do have frequent sunny intervals that last for days – and it looks like there is just one at the street corner.
According to BBC forecasters, the weather is set to soar where we see highs of 21C this month.

From May 15-21, temperatures will average 20C with May 15-16 reaching highs of nearly 20C. This will soon be followed by highs of 20C on the 17th where it will again jump to the 18-21C .
Thanks to soaring temperatures, this means the capital is set to get warmer than parts of Spain, notably Portugalete.
