Kewal Singh Dhillon has 2 houses in Spain, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann alleges | Chandigarh News

BARNALA: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann claimed on Thursday that the BJP candidate Kewal Singh Dhillon had bought two houses in Spain. Addressing the residents of Bhadaur, he said international drug smugglers and traffickers resided in Spain and Dhillon now also owned houses there.
He said Dhillon doesn’t care about the poor, as he only talks about airports. Mann added that Dhillon changed the flag of the party he was contesting against, but his jacket was still in Congress colors.
Dhillon called CM’s accusations defamatory. He said he would sue for defamation for using derogatory words for himself and also for Spain and was spoiling relations between India and Spain. He said the CM should not look inside his jacket but should focus on how to ensure development in Punjab which should be his main concern and not people’s lives.
According to the affidavit he filed, Kewal Singh’s wife Dhillon and his sons own two apartments in the resort town of Marbella in the province of Malaga in southern Spain. Apartment number 203 is 79.95 sqm, purchased in October 2018 and valued at Rs 79 lakh. Apartment number 202 measures 173.23 sqm, purchased in April 2019 and was valued at Rs 1.92 crore. Dhillon also showed homes in Delhi and Chandigarh.
